Costs for Telemedicine and Telehealth Visits
Effective February 3, 2022, the cost share waiver for telemedicine and telehealth visits not related to COVID 19 testing will end for State Health Benefits Program (SHBP)/School Employees’ Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) members. You will pay:
- PPO Plan: $5 copay for urgent medical visits and behavioral health visits.
- CDHP: Medical care — no more than $59 per visit. Behavioral health visits — range from $79 to $175, depending on the type of service and therapist.
For members in CDHP, you will be charged $5 on your credit or debit card. Once the claim is processed, you will be billed the outstanding balance. If you have met your out-of-pocket maximum, you will not be charged.
Horizon CareOnline does not replace your relationship with the primary doctor or behavioral health professional you may see on a regular basis, but Horizon CareOnline is available when you need it. Your out-of-pocket cost for using Horizon CareOnline may vary.
