MOBE® Program No Longer Available to Horizon members

Effective January 1, 2022, Horizon will no longer offer services from MOBE to its members. MOBE is an independent company that offered select members personalized health services assistance and coaching at no additional cost.

Horizon Medicare Advantage NJ DIRECT (PPO)

Effective January 1, 2019, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey will no longer administer Medicare Advantage (MA) PPO plans for the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program (SHBP).

Provider Alert: Zinbryta

On March 2, 2018, Biogen and AbbVie announced the voluntary worldwide withdrawal of Zinbryta® (daclizumab), a medicine used to treat relapsing multiple sclerosis.

Remember to check your claims error reports before calling about claim status

If an electronic claim is rejected, you will receive an error report, either the 999 or the 277CA Claims Acknowledgement Report that explains why the claim was rejected.

Duplicate EOPs statements on NaviNet

Horizon BCBSNJ is aware of an EFT issue that is resulting in the display of duplicate Explanation of Payment (EOP) statements within NaviNet’s Payment Status inquiry transaction for payments November 3, 2016 and after.
