You Can Use Our Utilization Management Request Tool to Send Us Updates

The Contact Notes section in our Utilization Management Request Tool allows you to send us information about your outpatient prior authorization requests. You can:

  • Request to add a CPT code to a pended prior authorization case
  • Request a date of service change
  • Inform us that clinical information was attached to a pended case
  • See any replies or notes from Horizon

How to access the tool

  • – Sign in to NaviNet and select Horizon BCBSNJ or HNJH from the My Health Plans menu.
  • – Mouse over Referrals and Authorization.
  • – Select Utilization Management Requests.
