Prostate cancer clinical trials are available for your eligible patients

The health and wellness of our members and the communities we serve is important to Horizon BCBSNJ. That’s why we have partnered with the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI’s) Center for Cancer Research (CCR), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to make it easier for you and your patients to find clinical trial opportunities that offer access to advanced cancer therapies.

CCR is currently running 29 prostate cancer clinical trials, including options that use advanced cancer therapies, such as immunotherapy treatments, and new alternatives for imaging. To learn more about the steps to enroll in a clinical trial, you can visit the CCR website or review this video.

Please review the information available about CCR’s prostate cancer clinical trials and share the resources with your patients who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Additional Information about CCR’s prostate cancer clinical trials:

In addition to prostate cancer therapies, CCR serves as a centralized research hub with comprehensive, highly differentiated resources and information on key therapeutic areas. CCR offers more than 150 cancer and HIV clinical trials with advanced cancer therapies, many of which are not available anywhere else in the world. If you’re interested in learning more about these clinical trials, please visit NCI’s Clinical Trial website. A full search directory of NCI-supported clinical trials is available at this link.
