Pager: Helping Our Employees Get Care

Horizon BCBSNJ is piloting a new mobile app with its employees: Pager.

Pager is a one-stop mobile app that combines Horizon BCBSNJ’s existing services, such as 24/7 Nurse Line and Horizon CareOnline, with a new appointment-scheduling feature.

Approximately 4,900 Horizon BCBSNJ employees and their dependents ages 18 and older who are enrolled in Horizon BCBSNJ-sponsored insurance, have access to Pager.

Your office staff may receive calls from Pager care coordinators on behalf of a covered Horizon BCBSNJ employee, or their dependent age 18 or older, to schedule a visit at your office. The care coordinator will identify him- or herself as a Pager employee calling for a Horizon BCBSNJ member. Please accept the call and work with the care coordinator to schedule an appointment.
