You¹ have access to Experian identity protection services as an added feature of your health plan.
If your identity has been stolen, the team at Experian is standing by to help you.
As a Horizon member, you’re automatically registered. But if a problem arises, simply call Experian at 1-866-926-9801, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Eastern Time (ET), and Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., ET. A dedicated investigator will work with you to recover any financial losses, restore your credit and make sure your identity is returned to its proper condition.
Use engagement number B020144 beginning January 1, 2022 as proof of eligibility when calling.
For additional protection at no cost to you, you may enroll in Experian IdentityWorks at any time while you are an eligible Horizon member. When you do, you’ll have access to:
- Experian credit report at sign-up
- Credit monitoring
- Internet surveillance
- Up to $1 million identity theft insurance
- Lost Wallet
- Child monitoring
- Experian IdentityWorks ExtendCARE™
Experian Identity Restoration
If you become a victim of identity theft, a dedicated Identity Restoration Specialist from Experian will act as your guide and advocate from start to finish. Once contacted, your Identity Restoration Specialist will start the dispute process and help ensure that your identity returns to its pre-identity theft state.

¹Horizon members enrolled in fully insured and self-insured group health plans, including the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) and School Employees’ Health Benefits Program (SEHBP), and consumers enrolled in individual health plans on and off the Exchange, are eligible for identity protection coverage. Members enrolled in coverage through the Federal Employee Program® (FEP®), Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D and Medicaid plans are not eligible for identity protection coverage.
