Prescription Help Available for Those Impacted by Tropical Storm Ida

Horizon has made accommodations to provide extended relief for Commercial market members who live in New Jersey and were impacted by Tropical Storm Ida.

The accommodations listed below will be in effect from September 28, 2021 through December 27, 2021.

Prescription Refills If Horizon covers your prescription medicines, you can receive up to a 90-day emergency refill at your local or mail-order pharmacy.
Lost/Damaged Medicine If Horizon covers your prescription medicines, and your medicines were lost or damaged due to Tropical Storm Ida, you can receive early refills.
Home Delivery If you use home delivery and have been displaced from your home due to Tropical Storm Ida, please call Horizon Pharmacy Member Services at 1-800-370-5088 24/7 to request an override to receive a 90-day refill at your local retail pharmacy.
Prior Authorization If you have trouble refilling a prescription, call Horizon Pharmacy Member Services at 1-800-370-5088. Your doctor can also call Horizon Pharmacy at 1-888-214-1784 to request a clinical review.
