Understanding the Exchange

We know health insurance can seem confusing, especially if you’ve purchased your insurance through the Exchange, also known as the Health Insurance Marketplace. You may not be sure who to contact for help when you need it. We want to help you understand the health care system and your health coverage.

Some questions about your coverage can only be answered by the Exchange, while other questions are answered by Horizon BCBSNJ representatives. The chart below will help you know who to call when you need help.
