As part of our commitment to help improve the health of our members, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey has processes in place to monitor, assess and improve the quality and appropriateness of care provided to you by our participating doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Our Network Operations team maintains access standards to ensure that members have desired access to participating doctors and other health care professionals.

Details about the access standards we’ve established for Primary care Physicians (PCPs), OB/GYN’s, specialty physicians and behavioral health practitioners for a variety of different scenarios are available on our website.
