Expanding Access to Lab Services
In-network HCS physicians are expected to use one of the labs listed below to provide any medically necessary lab services, including routine lab tests and blood and urine screenings, when treating workers’ compensation and PIP claimants.
Horizon Casualty Services’ laboratory network for workers’ compensation and personal injury protection (PIP) services now includes the following labs:
- BioReference Laboratories
- LabCorp
- Quest Diagnostics
In-network HCS physicians are expected to use one of the labs listed above to provide any medically necessary lab services, including routine lab tests and blood and urine screenings, when treating workers’ compensation and PIP claimants.
PIP claimants who use in-network labs may have lower out-of-pocket expenses.
