Questions About Out-of-Network Costs (After Business Hours)

New Jersey has a new law, the Out-of-Network Consumer Protection, Transparency, Cost Containment and Accountability Act (the “Act”), to help protect you from surprise bills, including bills for emergency services from doctors, hospitals and other health care professionals who are not in your health plan’s network (also called out-of-network providers).



We can help you get the information you need. If you have questions about the participating status of your physician or your out-of-network benefits, you can also call 1-833-876-3825 and speak to a trained representative from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., Eastern Time (ET), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, on Thursday. Specially trained Representatives can answer questions about your out-of-network benefits, out-of-pocket costs or how to find a doctor or hospital.



For all other questions about your benefits, please call the number on your ID card during normal business hours or sign in to send a secure email 24/7.
