Our Quality Improvement Program
At Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, we’re committed to making sure our members receive access to quality care. Our Quality Improvement Program monitors and works to improve the quality of care and services provided to our members. We want the care and services our members receive to be appropriate, necessary and properly administered. Our Quality Improvement Program monitors areas that affect the care our members receive, including:
- Access to care.
- Clinical practice guidelines for screenings and immunizations.
- Member education.
- Member satisfaction, complaints and appeals.
- Proper credentialing and compliance of doctors.
- Screenings and compliance with recommended care.
