Affordability How can we offer a Medicare Advantage (MA) health plan that can cost you even less than some "no premium"* health plans you've heard about? Horizon Healthcare of New Jersey, Inc. has a contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that allows us to offer you your Medicare benefits through our Medicare Advantage (MA) plans: Horizon Medicare Blue Value and Horizon Medicare Blue Access. Through this contract, Medicare pays us a set amount each month to subsidize your premium thereby allowing us to offer you a plan with no health plan premium for you to pay when you choose Horizon Medicare Blue Value. In addition, when you choose a Medicare Advantage plan from Horizon Healthcare of New Jersey, Inc., your Medicare Part B premium will be reduced by $28.00.* This means more money for you in your Social Security check. For members who choose Horizon Medicare Blue Value with prescription drug coverage (MA-PD), the $28 discount will be applied toward your prescription plan premium.
