On January 1, 2004, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey commenced
operation of The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey to promote health, well-being, and
quality of life for all New Jersey residents while continuing our tradition of
community involvement and employee volunteer activities.
The Foundation demonstrates our compassion, social responsibility, and commitment
to New Jersey by supporting charitable organizations that are primarily focused on
health-related issues and the arts. By providing support to these types of charitable
organizations, the Foundation has the ability to assist many New Jersey residents and
make a positive impact in our communities throughout the state.
